Also, it doesn’t hurt that it’s gorgeous. You communicate with your supervisor via a handheld walkie talkie as you attempt to solve a mystery in the summer of 1989…and that’s all you really know going in. Developed by game house Campo Santo and published by Mac/iOS developers Panic, Firewatch is a first-person adventure game in which you play a fire lookout in the Wyoming wilderness. I don’t get excited about Mac games very often anymore, but that’s because most of them don’t come with the kind of pedigree behind Firewatch. Note: This story has not been updated for several years.
